MEDICATION MANAGEMENT & ONGOING PSYCHIATRIC CARE
Care that continues beyond the first visit.
Medication management is more than prescribing. Ongoing psychiatric care gives you space to talk about how treatment is working, what has changed, what is not working, and what may need to be adjusted over time.
Follow-up appointments are typically scheduled for 30 minutes.

Medication Review When Applicable
If medication is part of your treatment plan, follow-up visits include reviewing response, side effects, adherence, and whether the current medication or dose still makes sense.

WHAT FOLLOW-UP CARE CAN INCLUDE
Follow-up care looks at the full picture, not just the prescription.
How You're Doing
We'll talk through what has changed since your last visit, what feels better, what still feels difficult, and whether anything new has come up.
Ongoing psychiatric care gives us space to revisit goals, adjust treatment when needed, incorporate supportive care, and discuss other next steps based on how your are doing.

WHAT WE CAN TALK ABOUT
Follow-up visits can make room for more than symptoms.
Ongoing psychiatric care gives you space to talk about the things affecting how you are doing day to day—not just whether a medication should stay the same.

FOLLOW-UP CARE
The rhythm of care can change as your needs change.
Follow-up visits are generally scheduled for 30 minutes and are used to monitor progress, review treatment, and make adjustments when needed. The frequency of visits depends on your symptoms, medications, response to treatment, and overall clinical needs.
Some medications and clinical situations require in-person follow-up, monitoring, or drug screening. Once a controlled-medication regimen is stable, in-person follow-up is generally planned about every three months, with telehealth used when clinically appropriate between those visits.

WHEN YOU'RE READY
You can bring questions, concerns, changes, and uncertainty into follow-up visits. The goal is to keep understanding how you are doing and make thoughtful decisions together as your needs evolve.
